Children Finding Joy Through the Bible
Parenting our kids toward knowing and loving Jesus can feel overwhelming at times can't it? Are we doing it right? Am I teaching them enough? Will their faith become personal and not just an extension of my own beliefs or others? How do I lead them into a relationship with Jesus that is real if I don't have that kind of relationship?
You're not alone in asking these questions. In fact, the Bible gives families exactly what we need to find Jesus and shepherd the hearts of our kids to grow in their faith. It is tempting to leave the faith training up to our church but the reality is that the home gets the hours (and let's be honest - the hard moments)!
Fortunately, in Deuteronomy 6:7, God gave us some clear guidance that can help us throughout our days, weeks, and years, as we engage with our kids.
