How to Study the Bible

USING THE CHARA BIBLE STUDY GUIDE

INTRO TO THE CHARA BIBLE STUDY GUIDE

God’s Word is meant to be understood. It was understood by the original audience in its day and we believe the Bible can make sense to us today. That being said, two things we commonly hear are: “I don’t understand the Bible” and “What Bible study should I do next?”

We get it. We’ve been there. That’s why we developed the CHARA Bible Study Guide - to help you learn how to study and understand the Bible on your own and to use as a guide to your personal or group Bible study.

Because our aim is not to tell you what to think, but how to think - this guide can be used by anyone. We want you to be able to read the Bible on its own terms, regardless of your faith background or Biblical knowledge.

It is our prayer, that by using this resource, you’ll be able to decipher the full meaning of the text, grasp the culture and history of its time, learn more about each author’s purpose, and know the tools to use as you dive into God’s Word and apply it to your life.

Just access the information below or download the printable booklet to use anytime and anywhere as you’re on-the-go, and get ready for an exciting journey of discovery that brings unimaginable joy!
